Previously Head of Nutrient Bioavailability at Nestle Research Center, Lausanne, and Head of Group at Institute of Food Research. Current research interests in how dietary polyphenols are absorbed and the mechanisms by which they reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease/diabetes. Wide range of scientific experience including ~180 invited research seminars at international scientific conferences and research centers/universities, and supervision of 46 previous and current PhD students.
