Giancarlo Cravotto

Giancarlo Cravotto after 4-years in the pharmaceutical industry, he became a researcher at the University of Turin (Italy). He is currently Full Professor of Organic Chemistry and President of the European Society of Sonochemistry. Since 2007 he is Director of the Department of Drug Science and Technology. His research activity is documented by about 320 peer reviewed papers, several book chapters and patents. His group has been partner of several UE projects: ARCADE (FP7), MAPSYN (FP7-NMP-2012), ECOEXTRACTION (Alcotra), US4GREENCHEM (H2020) and COSMIC (MSCA-ETN). His research activity is focused on enabling technologies for green chemical processes, plant extraction and food processing from lab scale to pilot plants.
